Unimarket provides a student-focused housing discovery and viewing coordination service designed to help students find hostels more easily and reliably. By continuing to use this housing service, users acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

1. Platform Purpose

Unimarket acts as a housing discovery and coordination platform. The platform helps students:

• Discover hostel listings.
• Connect with Verified Student Agents (VSA).
• Locate and physically visit hostels.

Unimarket does NOT: own hostels, manage properties, handle rent payments, handle deposits, or act as a landlord or property manager.

2. Verified Student Agents (VSA)

Verified Student Agents are students authorized to assist with housing discovery and viewing coordination. Their responsibilities may include sourcing hostels, verifying existence, uploading listings, coordinating schedules, and physically guiding students.

VSAs are NOT landlords, caretakers, property owners, or employees of the hostels listed.

3. Listing Information

While efforts are made to keep listings accurate and updated:

• Hostel availability may change.
• Pricing may change.
• Rooms may become unavailable without notice.

Unimarket does not guarantee availability, pricing accuracy at all times, or room reservation. Students are encouraged to independently confirm all details.

4. Viewing / Service Fees

Some housing assistance services may require a viewing or service fee. This fee covers time spent sourcing houses, coordination, physical guidance, and assistance provided by the VSA.

The fee is NOT rent, a deposit, or a booking fee. Any service fee is paid directly to the Verified Student Agent. Unimarket does not process or hold these payments.

5. Student Responsibilities

By using the platform, students agree to communicate respectfully, attend scheduled viewings responsibly, inspect properties personally before payment, and verify suitability independently. Final housing decisions are made at the student's own discretion and responsibility.

6. Prohibited Actions

Agents must NOT: collect rent/deposits on behalf of landlords, upload fake listings, intentionally mislead students, or provide false pricing.

Students must NOT: abuse agents, misuse platform services, or engage in fraudulent behavior.

Violation of these rules may result in account restriction, suspension, or permanent removal.

7. Safety & Liability Disclaimer

Unimarket is not responsible for agreements made between students and landlords, landlord behavior, property conditions, disputes after tenancy, or losses resulting from independent transactions.

Students are advised to inspect houses carefully, confirm payment terms directly, and prioritize personal safety during viewings.

8. Platform Enforcement Rights

Unimarket reserves the right to remove listings, suspend agents, restrict users, and modify platform policies when necessary.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By clicking "I Understand & Continue", the user confirms that they have read, understand, and agree to use the housing service under these conditions.
